Last week a rep from a uk distributor brought round a PEACH camera
and also the chip it is made from. measure 1" x 1" approx, I have the data
sheet somewhere, cost < 100 pounds. This s mono and has resolution of
300x280'ish.

Made from a single chip that does all scanning and output is a
standard (625) signal. The chip is available by itself. Designed by
Edinburgh University. Current required fairly small, this not a CCD device as
such I believe!

If any wants to know more then mail me and I'll try a little harder
to recover the data sheet from my "filing system".
