RC>1) What is a DS1233?
RC> This part appears on the schematic as having no inputs and only

RC> then mabey I could search by discription rather than by number.

The DS1233 is a power-reset chip made by Dallas Semiconductor. When the
supply voltage drops below a set voltage (5%,10%, or 15% below nominal
depending on the tolerance of 1233) due to brown-out conditions, or on
power-up, the DS1233 provides a momentary reset pulse. That is, the DS1233
is a supply-voltage sentry. It will reset the microprocessor if the supply
voltage drops below a critical value (at which the microprocessor may
become unreliable).

Hope this helps,

AJ
