                         CALL FOR PAPERS

             THE INDUSTRIAL COMPUTING SOCIETY CONFERENCE

                  will be held in conjunction with

        ISA/94 Anaheim International Conference & Exhibition
                        October 24-27, 1994

The Industrial Computing Society Technical Conference Committee will
consider original papers in areas including:

Integrated Manufacturing Technologies
Emerging Technologies
Manufacturing Execution Systems
Hardware Architectures
Real-Time Languages and Operating Systems
GUIs and MMIs
Plantwide Data Management
Networking Technology
Data Acquisition and I/O Control
Control Strategies and Technologies
Manufacturing Application Development

Technical Paper Requirements:

- Specific platforms addressed will include hardened computers, PLCs,
  DCSs, and mainframe level computing.

- All papers must be original, objective and noncommercial.  They will be
  published and copyrighted by the conference organizer.

- All papers and presentations will be in English.

Intent to Present Forms Due: Apr 1, 1994

Paper Review Drafts Due: May 1, 1994

Final Papers Due: June 1, 1994
