I am trying to develop an airborne monitor for a model rocket. The
variables I wish to monitor include the temperature, g-force (acceleration)
and the air pressure (altitude). I am aware of commercial data loggers
which are designed for this application, but wish to 'rol my own' to get
some hands on information.

The particular reason to ask this group is that many of you require the
same information for initerial guidance system in robots.

I am looking for a manufacture/distributor for sensors which might have
products which I could use. Temperature is easy and cheap, but the others
are more fuzzy. I know there are monolithic devices which measure these
quantites, but I don't know their availability or price. Weight is a major
concern as well as size. Price is also a problem.

If anyone has some information on these type of sensors, please send me email.
