At Alife III, there was a person who, instead of spending the week
soaking in lectures, built a one wheeled robot as part of Fred Martin's
LEGO workshop. It had one drive wheel dead centre, several skids to
insure balance, and a large, 4 vaned LEGO 'fan' on top driven by a
reversable motor. Worked very well in terms of following a complex
path by using the vanes as an inertial centre. Good idea to steal, I
think. Brilliant design.

Is all.
