There is no way to make good/quick/cheap mechanical parts. Good ones
take time. Quick ones wonUt be good, and cheap ones can be found all
over on junked equipment.

Try some of the surplus hardware outfits. There might be one in your
town. Check the Yellow Pages under surplus and under hardware. Here
are a few outfits I have ordered from and been happy. They have all
sorts of small items of use to think-makers:

Stock Drive Products
2101 Jericho Turnpike
New Hyde Park, NY 11040
Ask for their Handbook of Small Standardized Components

C&H Sales
2176 E. Colorado Blvd.
Pasadena, CA 91107
800-325-9465
Their catalog lists many small motors, gears, relays, etc. Mostly
military, aerospace and mfg. surplus.

H&R Company
18 Canal St.
Bristol, PA 19007-0122
215-788-5583
Some surplus, some new. Manufacturing overruns, take-outs.
Electrical, electro-mechanical and electronic stuff. Some identified
as robotics components.

American Science & Surplus
601 Linden Pl.
Evanston, IL 60202
708-475-8440
Manufacturing and govmt. surplus mechanical, electrical and electronic
parts. Their catalog is a hoot.
