An 68HC11 EVBU is not really a device (the chip supplier probably listed
you the different versions of the 68HC11 chip), but a box that contains
a printed circuit board with an 68HC811E9 (I think) on it, an RS-232
port, a clock chip, reset button, and an expansion connector and large
expansion area. It also contains various data books and other literature,
and two floppies, one for MS-DOS, and one for the MAC, with assembler and
download software. The ROM contains Buffalo, a nice little monitor
program. A nice way to get started. Active Electronics sells it. Last
price I saw was $100.
