I am working on the implementation in a real robot of the visual control
method based on a Self Organising Neural network described in the paper
"Three-Dimensional Neural Net for Learning Visuomotor Coordination of a
Robot Arm", by T.M. Martinetz, H.J. Ritter and K.J. Schulten. , IEEE
Trans. on NN, Vol.1 Num. 1, March 1990.

I am having troubles with certain parameters used in the updating process
and I desperately need to contact any of the authors to ask some technical
  questions about their paper.

I would be very grateful if anyone could send me (by email is fine)
the email-address of any (or all) of them. In the same way, and as I think
that the problems could also be in my program, that has become quite large
and complex, any implementation of the method in C would be very useful. I
have tried SOM_PAK (The Self-Organising Map Program Package by the Helsinki
University) but it works only on two dimensional lattices, either in
hexagonal or rectangular topology, not in 3 or higher dimensions, and it does

not allow associated information attached to a neuron, for doing both maps
(sensorial and motor) develop together in a coupled way, as the paper points
  out.

Many thanks in advance, and I apologise for the disturbances this may
   cause.

   Yours sincerely

	  Juan Domingo.
