On the front-inside-cover of the Feb '93 Circuit Cellar INK magazine
there is a similar advertisement.  The company in this ad is in the USA.
Board price is $49 dollars, development kit including one Stamp,
parallel-port cable and software is $149.

They show a picture of the board.  It has one 18-pin chip (PIC),
one 8-pin chip, one transistor-looking device (voltage regulator?)
and a couple of passive components.  Also, a 3-pin connector that
appears to be for the PC link.  There is a small prototype area
and connectors on one end for power (appears to be board-mount
9V battery clips!).

I have no connection to any of these companies, just thought that
USA readers might be interested to know the "local" source.

It does look interesting.  I suspect that the miniboard has quite
a bit more memory, speed and I/O perhaps (I'm expert on neither).
