I have two bright neices who are Junior and Senior in
High School. They are recently arived from Korea and
already straight A students.

They want to learn computer programming. I've decided
to teach Scheme. Partly because of the Abelman & Sussman
text. Partly to learn it myself.

I've also decided to teach it on a PC so they have easy
access to things like word processors. Also so I can
get a used machine cheap.

What are the minamums I should observe (disk, ram, etc)

I've already got ftp addresses etc.

Any special hints.
