at one point I tried, together with David Moffat from Amsterdam. We
sort of succeeded although I wasn't quite happy with the final result
for reasons that i don't quite remember...

the result is available from
        ftp://ftp.let.rug.nl/pub/prolog-app/prof/

let me know if it's useful / when you improve on it.

Currently I use ProTcl which is fine. The only problem is that
it is quite difficult to install on different machines. Also note
that Sicstus 3.x now supports a similar interface to Tcl/Tk as one
of its standard libraries.

If I remember well David has also used it for SWI prolog.
