Try "Logic Grammars" by H. Abramson and V. Dahl, Springer 1989
ISBN 0-387-96961-6 (3-540-96961-6).  Chapter 9 describes a code
generator.

You might also look at Peter Reintjes's VHDL translator (I think it's
mentioned in the FAQ; I recall a notice about it recently in the
comp.lang.prolog newsgroup).
