Hi,

I've just uploaded SWI-Prolog 1.9.4 as

	ftp:swi.psy.uva.nl/pub/SWI-Prolog/pl-1.9.4.tar.gz

These are the sources used to compile the latest MS-Windows binary:

	ftp:swi.psy.uva.nl/pub/SWI-Prolog/winpl194.zip

Most important fixes:

	* Redefining system predicates now needs an explicit declaration.
	* Fixed `make install' for some shells (Kayvan Sylvan)
	* Fixed configuration for AIX and solaris-2 (when not configured
	  for using the dlopen() interface).
	* Improvements/fixes to ed/1, edit/1, trace/[1,2], whereis/1,
	  spy/1, listing/1 (handle autoloading).
	* MS-Windows: network problems *may* be fixed (Henk Vandecasteele)
	  (they are for his network configuration).
	* MS-Windows: DDE client protocol (Don Dwiggins)

Soon (maybe):

	* Hooks for source-level debugger.
	* There seems to be a configuration problem for very recent Linux
	  versions. gcc 2.5.8 is fine, but gcc-2.6.1 with recent libc
	  gives problems with saved-states.

	Regards --- Jan
