For thos looking for a public domain prolog interpreter/compiler
look for sbprolog at cs.arizona.edu in sbprolog/v3

I think it is fully compatible with C-prolog(according to the docs).
It allows a swap file of up to 128Mbytes for big projects.

Unfortunately I can't get the library functions to work work .
The installation instruction are not very explict so look it up
and if you can get it to work properly drop me a line on how you did it.
