Actually, Cycorp has recently (8/8/96) released the upper level ontology 
to the Cyc system for perusal and comment. This is available from
http://www.cyc.com

While this does not analyze an assertion (since being able to make
an assertion would require the average netizen to be able to write CycL
queries), it does give some idea of how the ideas and concepts in Cyc
have been broken down.

This hierarchy is not of course, all of Cyc, nor is it even all of the
hierarchy, rather it is some of the very highest level concepts so
the general conceptual organization of the knowledge will be better
understood.
