               United Technologies Research Center

United Technologies Research Center (UTRC) is seeking an individual to
fill a full-time position in the Diagnostic Technology group. This
individual will participate in a Research and Development program
focused on Knowledge Discovery in after-market databases.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze system requirements, propose and evaluate technology solutions,
and apply data mining techniques to demonstrate measurable benefits to
the divisions of United Technologies Corporation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D. in Computer Science with a background in Data Mining / Knowledge
Discovery in Databases.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with commercial Data Mining tools and database systems,
broad background in Artificial Intelligence techniques, strong
programming skills.
