The following is an announcement regarding the "expanded search" at
ASU, which now includes a tenure-track faculty position in the general
area of AI in our department (at Arizona State University).
Please note that the deadline for first screening of applications is
February 14th.

We are especially interested in people with research interests
that would complement our current research in planning and scheduling
(eg. people with interests in Machine learning, Data Mining,
Probabilistic reasoning, decision theoretic planning, constraint
satisfaction etc.), and people with a strong blend of theoretical and
experimental research. The rank of the position is open. I would
appreciate it very much if you could advertise it through appropriate
channels at your institution. I would be happy to answer any questions
you might have in this regard.
