Warren Buffett and George Burns, both inveterate, strong bridge players 
with more than a few dollars available, are names that come to mind.
(Not to mention Zia, who might be persuaded to think that perhaps with 
sufficient funding, such an effort may be successful, rather than 
wagering against it.)  
There are also literally hundreds of wealthy bridge players, perhaps 
thousands, who might consider funding such an effort to establish a 
permanent name for themselves in the archives of bridge, as well as to 
make a real contribution to the game they love.

Don't rule out the possibility too quickly, Jerry.
