A friend of mine has written an essay on 'Can Computers Think' as part of a
business studies degree, and would greatly appreciate having it reviewed by
somebody 'in the know'.

He has spent a great deal of time and effort researching current issues and
papers, and wants to be sure the essay reflects current thinking in the AI
world.

Does anybody have the time to have a brief look at this and make some
comments?

It is about 3000 words long.
