The next meeting of the BCS AI Group is Tuesday, December 13, 1994 at
7:00 PM on the MIT campus, Building E51 Room 136.

Our featured speaker will be Dr. Alper Caglayan, President, Charles River
Analytics Inc, Cambridge, MA.

Charles River Analytics ships a shrink-wrapped product called Open Sesame!
that helps Mac users become more productive by detecting common usage
patterns and automating many routine tasks. After a demo of the product,
Dr. Caglayan will talk about the underlying learning agent technology and
the hybrid neural net approach used in this product. This is a great
example of adapting and embedding advanced technology into a mass-market
software product. Find out how they did it.

Please join us. All are welcome.

campus for more than 10 years. We cover practical applications of expert
systems, neural nets, genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic, CBR and related
technologies.

up one level to room 136. Look for BCS signs.
