What are the tools that one could use to build (e.g. how can we establish
adequate access to the knowledge base) and maintain a shared knowledge base
in an organisation (project histories, manufactoring data, etc.). With
"maintain" I mean: (a) how can we cope with the continous update of the
shared knowledge base, (b) how can we solve security problems resulting
from the shared use of the knowledge base, (c) what and where is the fit of
the knowledge base with the daily business and with business planning.
Maybe someone can point out successful examples in industry?

Best regards,

Hubert Hofmann
