What if FDR had lived??? Would the United States have dropped the 
A-Bomb??? Would there have been a Cold War? Given FDR's diplomatic 
skills, abilities that Truman lacked, I think the Cold War is questionable.

If Reagan had died in 1981, would the Cold War be over now? Reagan nearly 
bankrupt this country and did spend more then the Soviets could. Would 
Bush have been popular and strong enough to keep running massive debts 
and building a sizable military?

We can play what if questions all night....
