My Fellow Netters,

The newsgroup "sci.logic" is for technical discussion about
logic itself, generally from a mathematical, philosophical, or
computational point of view. Lately, sci.logic is being
cross-posted to by many people who believe they are taking a
"logical" approach to some argument. This is not appropriate,
since just about anyone on any of the opinion or discussion
groups on Usenet can claim the same thing. (It has also been
cross-posted to by people concerned with logical circuitry,
which is also not appropriate.)

Please edit out "sci.logic" from the Newsgroups: line when
you follow up an inappropriate cross-post. This can be your good
deed for the day in the service of cleaning up clutter on the
net. Ask not what Usenet can do for you, but what you can do
for Usenet. Thanks.

Here's a list of the newsgroups articles have been
cross-posted to from sci.logic just in the last 6 days.
Some of the cross-posting has been appropriate, much has not.
