The problem is that an IQ test is not a test to see whether or
not you did your homework and memorized your lessons.  It's a
test to predict how capable you are of certain tasks.  Let's
say people who take the test cold and score 150 on average
accomplish certain things in life (which for lack of a better
measure, we could guage by income) and people who study up and
score 150 accomplish much less.  This would suggest that the
second group "really" had lower IQs.
