Bertrand Russell agreed that the Ontological argument for teh existence of
God was correct as put forth by S.t Anselm. On this premise since you can
concieve of a being than whom no greater can be concieved adn since it is
better to exist in fact than in imagination and God exists then we can
accept the existance of a soul as the connection by which man communicates
with God. Since this is a proof for the existance of a soul. Let's put it
this way God is consciousness. The consciousness we posses is what we get
from him. This can only be explained in a soul. Will the machine have a
soul? NO but you wont be able to tell the difference without machine aided
detection.
