Hello all.

Put simply, I want to go to graduate school (for a PhD eventually) for
something close to NLP / Computational Linguistics. I'm trying to
determine prospects closer to California.

I graduated with a BS (Computer Science & Math. as Majors; Psychology
as a Minor) in 1995 from a state college in NJ (JCSC, if you care...) and
have been working as a Programmer / Analyst since 1992. Now that I've
finished a year of nothing but "the real world", I want to return
from my self-imposed exile to school.

Questions are: where, when, and most importantly--how?

I hope you take the time to advise me in this matter. Serious
counsel, though rare, isn't entirely extinct.

Should you not care about my predicament, or feel the need to
point me elsewhere...be kind enough to do so with your posts, not just
verbally (since that can't possibly help).

	Thank you.

	-- Hira
