I've got more details on that IBM system that I've mentioned before, which
I've see in Discover, October 1994 (Special issue with 5th Annual Technology
Awards). In the area of Computer Software the winner was:

	IBM Personal Dictation System

it requires Intel 486 or a Pentium chip to run, it features a dictionary of
32000 words, handles homophones, etc. The system costs below $1000 but the
article does not say if it is available in retail.
