I am currently working on a commercial project using GA for the last year
or two. They are happy with the method, despite its lack of unique
solutions. I think the users acknowledge that although they are not
consistent, the solutions are better than they could produce manually and
they accept that.

Incidently, my client is currently trying to recruit a permanent analyst
programmer with a year or two of good GA experience. They are situated in
the M4 corridor west of London and are a well known large company.
