Too late for what? Heaven? Let's just say you did die and faced "god".
My first question for the dude would be "Who made you?" something cannot 
create itself, so what did? And what did he/she/it do before the universe
was created? and who created god's creator? it goes on forever. And if you 
make the assumption that god is the only thing that ever has been and that 
ever will be, then you believe it is possible that something can exist 
having never been "created". So why not the entire universe? This is 
precisely the flaw with the creationism theory.

because we are here, and besides, philosophical discussions are interesting.
I'm also not saying that God doesn't exist, i'm just saying that our minds 
either cannot concieve the true notion of God, or that we are all part of 
God or some other weird neotheological idea that no one quite understands. 

My final point is, that we are only human. No one knows for certain (yet?)
the true nature of our creation. Anyone who tells you any different has 
either made up thier own mind and shall live by thier own set of rules, 
as I have done, or they will soon want you to make a small contributution 
to "the cause".
