1) What is "the shakeout?"  Are we talking about a corporate 
language supplier shakeout, an operating system shakeout or an 
industry/language usage shakeout?  In the latter two cases, 
probably only Java will survive...heh.

2) Delphi is Object Pascal by any other name.  Pascal is not 
exactly what I'd call a non-standard language.  Maybe "less 
used" would be a better description.
