As a newcommer to Smalltalk, I would appreciate if someone could
answer the following for me: in the book "The Smalltalk Developer's
Guide to VisualWorks', the author states: "A model that is no longer
accessible from the root object can be garbage collected." He also
says that the root is the SmallTalk dictionary.

What I would like to know is when does an object become not
accessible to the root object? I didn't follow his explanation, and I
can find non better.

    Thanks for any input.
