Yes, there are a lot of "opportunistic" books written on C++.  So,
beware of where you spend your money.    The best books that I have
found on C++ are:

	The C++ Programming Language, Second Edition
		Bjarne Stroustrup, Addison Wesley

	C++ Primer, Second Edition
		Stan Lippman, Addison Wesley

	Advanced C++ Programming Styles and Idioms
		James O. Coplien, Addison Wesley

	C++ FAQs
		Marshall Cline, Greg Lomow, Addison Wesley
