I took an introductory course in Smalltalk V at Carleton U
about two years ago and since then have become pretty proficient in
creating new applications with this great developmental OOPS. Only
problem is, I can't seem to figure out how to (detach) these
applications from the developmental environment for use in stand alone
PCs.
I realize that you have to disengage some of the features of
the running system, like the Browser, etc so that users of my
applications can't develop their own software or get the guts of
Smalltalk by paying pauper's fee for my applications.
If you can describe the steps needed to accomplish this final
phase of application development, please respond or e-mail me at my
address listed below. Merci et bienvenue ... :-)
