BEAM ROBOT OLYMPICS REVIEW

I was there for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I must say that I was
very impressed with the whole event. You couldn't keep me away from the
place. I enjoyed the diversity of the entrants from large R2D2 type robots
to very tiny insect types. Lots of last minute fiddling with soldering
irons smoking away, laptops fired up making last minute changes. The best
part of the whole event was the exchange of information. Everyone seemed
ready and willing to talk about their machines and brag about how they
did this and what they used for that. It was alot of fun and I learned alot
from the experience. My only regret is that I didn't compete.

Well, here's to the next BEAM ROBOT OLYMPICS.
