Does anyone out there know how to obtain a technical report from AI Lab at
MIT? Is there any email address to which I can ask availability of a
   specific paper and its cost?

You can anonymous ftp to ftp.ai.mit.edu. In the /ai-pubs directory
there is a README explaining the directory structure. The
bibliography subdirectory contains ASCII and PostScript versions of
the publications lists. I believe that the PostScript files are more
current.

You can also send email to publications@ai.mit.edu
