< I am currently looking for motors for my robot, however, I am having a
< very difficult time finding a supplier that carries a wide range of DC and
< stepper motors. If you have a favorite distributer or dealer, or a list of
< motor distributers, please e-mail its/their name, address, phone number, and
< other relevant information to me. I am hoping to find dealers that will take
< personal orders and supply technical data on the motors they sell.
<
< Also, I have a list of electronic suppliers (new, surplus, etc) that I got
< from sci.electronics newsgroup. If anyone is interested in the list, please
< send me e-mail also. If enough people asking for it, I will post it here.
<

I have a simalr need, except I want a source of larger DC motors, something
along the line of an jet engine starter motor. This is for an electric
car conversion, but I felt that there are enough hackers on this group
that I might come up with a west coast surplus dealer. I will consider
any supplier, but I suspect that shipping from further away might be
    excessive.

Please e-mail responses as I am not sure this group would want the info.
