Hi! I have offered the Information Package of the Robot Sumou
Tournament. It will be distributed by the round table method.

More than 20 people are listed till today, and, it's still continuing
to grow big. Let's guess how I can handle such big amount of package
without the round table method. I suppose some people might have
complaint about this method. Actually, it makes much delay of
distribution, and it seems unfair to be listed top or bottom. But,
please be patient for me. Any ideas to make all people happier are
welcomed.

I would like to announce recent progress of my work, and some of
informations which can be distributed by this electrical network.
( I hope the video can also be distributed by e-network. :-) )

I contacted the main sponsor in Japan, and I got an appointment to
distribute the information.

I also got some informations from the sponsor. One is some articles
from the New York Times introducing the Tournament. Other is address
and phone number of some famous people who might help us. And, the
another is the rule book published by sponsor.

I contacted also Mr.Masukawa who wrote an article introducing his
robot that won the first prize in '90, and I got an appointment to
translate it in English and distribute it.

I heve translated half of the article in English. It still remains
5 pages. It's hard job for non-native like me. But, this could be
much practice for me. :-)

And, I borrowed an 8mm video camcoder from my friend. The video
introducing the '91's tournament has copied to an 8mm video casette.

I will take some more pictures using this camcoder. It might be
myself and my robot, "BigTX". After all, I will copy to some VHS
casettes, and contain each of them in each package.

Here are some address and phone number where you can reach some
informations. These address and number will be included in the
package. And, I suppose all informations from these people will be
included in the package. Nevertheless, for people who can get all
things by themselves, I wolud like to introduce these.

the main sponsor:

	Fuji Software, Inc.

	Kanagawa-ku Yokohama-city
	Kanagawa 221, Japan

	attention: Khoji Ohba

	    phone: 81+45-324-1884
	facsimile: 81+45-324-6682

The supervisor of this tournament, Dr.Chie Kasuga, has taught her labo-
ratory's students using the Sumou Robots as the material of studying.
Many robots were born from her laboratory. If you have a chance to go
to Japan, please don't hesitate to contact her and visit her laboratory.

the supervisor:

	Dr. Chie Kasuga
	Assistant Professor

	Sibaura Institute of Engineering
	3-9-14 Sibaura Minato-ku
	Tokyo 108, Japan

	    phone: 81+3-5476-2456
	facsimile: 81+3-5476-3163

But, I would like to make a caution. These people in Japan are not
accustomed to speaking English. Please don't surprises them by sudden
phone calling. Writing a letter or sending a facsimile is better idea.
I warn you not to call up them :-)

The next tournament will be held on December 22nd and 23rd at Ryougoku
Kokugikan Hall. As you know, this hall is extremely large hall, where
the real Sumou has been held twice in a year.

Additionally, December 23rd is the birth date of the Emperor of Japan.

By the way, I would not inform you Mr.Masukawa(the author)'s address.
I talk to him this morning. He is frank nice guy. But, He is a
graduate student, now. He must write paper to get the Master's degree
this year. I don't want to bother him. Therefore I didn't inform you
his address. Please be patient.

I'm still looking forward to receive your e-mail with your name and
postal address to get the package.

Thank you.
