5. both LLZ's earliest known version of what became Esperanto--the 
"Lingwe Uniwersala" in which he wrote "Malamikete de las nacjes" and the 
later version in which he wrote i.a. the poem beginning "Mo bella 
redz'idau il sonto vida'" should appear under B.6; it is probable that 
LLZ was more fluent in them than he ever became in Bishop Schleyer's project.

6. The best single-volume source for English readers on the life and work 
of LLZ remains _Zamenhof, Creator of Esperanto_, Marjorie Boulton; London:
Routledge & Kegan, 1980 (repr.), 21 guilders**.
