	This reminds me of the provider database kept by one of the
USA's larger health care companies that a friend of mine recently
cleaned up.  Before he did, providers were listed as speaking such
languages as "Indian" and "Chinese".  On the other hand, "Parsi",
"Farsi", and "Persian" were all listed separately.

	The confusion stemmed from the fact that the providers were
allowed to fill in a blank for languages spoken rather than being asked
to choose from a list of options.
