(Not quoting a long exchange about ellipses, spaces, fonts, and so on).

I'd like to say how grateful I am to modern typographers. I spent two 
years of my life reading eighteenth century books, and believe you me, 
after a while "The fun fank in the weft . " wears a reader down. I had 
no idea that so much vitriol was behind all these changes, but, if it's 
necessary, go at it! Fight tooth and nail!
