  Sarnoff Real Time Corporation is a recently formed spinoff from the
David Sarnoff Research Center which is commercializing its real-time
image processing systems. These systems are aimed at video server
and video signal processing applications.

   * 672 MB/S Input Bandwidth (Multiple Analog or Digital D1/D2, HD1000)
   * 1344 MB/S Output Bandwidth (Multiple DACS or D1/D2/HD)
   * Options for ATM, OC3 I/O
   * Video Input and Output Seperate from Interprocessor Communications
   * Processors connected via two Ring Busses 168MB/S proc to proc.
   * Performance Scales from 672 sixteen bit MIPS to 86 GIPS
   * 5376 MIPS for about $100-150K depending on memory and video options
   * Up to seven simultaneous ops per inst (ADD, MPY, LUT, IPC, REG, MEM)
   * SGI GIO Bus Host Interface (systems ship with Indy)
   * Data Parallel C (DPC) programmable
   * Optional Parallel Disk array (one disk per processor)
   * Video Server Delivers 3000 3mbit/s streams.

  SRTC is currently working with a few "Beta" customers of its video
server and video signal processing systems and expects full production
by the end of the year. If anyone would like more information about
product availability, product brochures, papers, etc. send me a note.
