Our group is researching how to best serve the GIS community, and remote
sensor user in general. We have a suite of tools and capabilities that can be
brought to bear. The problem at hand is how can be best serve the users of
remotely sensed imagery?

The current satellite vendors provide data mostly in Level 1 formats, that
account for the basic systematic and geometric corrections. Some users
would like images geo-postioned correctly to some degree of accuracy,
others would like to have orthorectified images. These types of products are
also handled within some degree of acceptability by the vendors.

Is there an interest on the part of the using community to receive data that
has been registered to your own reference data? Is there an interest in user
selectable fused products, such as Landsat and SPOT, or ERS and Landsat?
Is there a need for delivery of mosaicked images of the users selection of
what images and types of sensors to mosaic?

Your help in answering these questions can provide us with the information
to provide you with these capabilities in the near future. Please let your
imagination fly!

Results will be posted for all.
