Postdoctoral positions are available in the Biomedical Image
Processing Laboratory of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at
the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. The BMEIP group consists of a
multi-disciplinary team of research scientists and physicians.
State-of-the-art image processing techniques are developed and applied
to a variety of clinically relevant issues. Program development is
performed on a network of Sun and SGI workstations. Clinical research
is carried out with physicians in a wide range of disciplines and
research opportunities are available in areas such as:

     -  MRI of MS lesions 

     - Intravascular ultrasound of atherosclerosis 

     - Classification of malignant breast tumors from mammogram images 

     - Analysis of local myocardial mechanics using MRI

     - Quantification of molecular and cellular markers

     - Three-dimensional reconstruction and rendering of medical images

 Applicants should be recent Ph.D. graduates with significant
experience in image processing and computer science.  Knowledge of
structured programming and basic biomedical sciences is required.
