[ I apologize if this message appears twice in some newsgroups; our
News server has had some problems. I also apologize if this
message appears in unappropriate forums; I've had some problems
  finding a forum that was well-suited. ]

I'm trying to synthesise how color-defective observers see
colors, and I want to evaluate the algorithm against well-known
color-blindness tests.

I've tried using the Ishihara, but when I use scanned versions
the synthesis fail to produce the expected result. I think the
fault is that the color scanner isn't calibrated or has a too
limited input gamut. So, it would be very convenient if I just
had the specifications of the colors used in the Ishihara test
(they seem to be in groups of three, with the same chromatic
components but varying lightness) I could just synthesise them
and see what the results were.

So, the question is:

Does anyone know the color coordinates (in any device independent
color model/space, but preferrably one defined by CIE) of
the colors used in the Ishihara tests, or for that matter,
	_any_ color-blindness tests?

[ Alternatively, does anyone know how I can measure the colors
myself or who I can contact that is most likely to have such
  color measure equipment? ]

Please respond via email.

Kind regards,
