It's currently around 30K. This is not unreasonable for a FAQ, IMHO.

That appears to be colour, actually, rather than color.

That would be ftp.adobe.com. I could only find viewers for the Mac and
for Windows, am I looking in the wrong place? I need one for my Amiga,
or the SGI at work.

"required" is a strong word. The question is, do you wish it to act as
a Usenet FAQ document, or not?

If so, I would recommend adding a header to it, explaining more clearly
its role in the universe, and posting it regularly. FAQs also get
archived on rtfm.mit.edu, which greatly enhances their availability.

FAQs also need to be < 80 columns in width, unlike the current version
of your file. Sadly, much of the Usenet community is still on dumb
terminals and/or printers.

If you would rather it were an Internet resource but not an actual FAQ,
like the Acrobat files, then a pointer to it would be plenty.

I'll be delighted to add a pointer to both the ASCII and the Acrobat
docs in the comp.graphics FAQ, whichever way you decide to go. I do
ask that resolve things with David first, tho, so we don't get another
instance of multiple, divergent FAQ-like documents, like happened with
the comp.graphics FAQ and the CGRL.
