What you need to cleary identify what it is, is to locate the Xerox Serial 
number, somewhere on the unit.  My next guess is, that it is a Xerox 820-II 
computer.  This is a monochrome screen (white on black)?  If it is this 
system, it is an Intel 8088 based computer.  Also, if it is this system, the 
operating system was CP/M.  In the XPS config, the system really only used the 
built in Terminal mode of Bios.  It was a edit terminal to the VAX host.
