Concerning some statements that globalview is awful, since they seem to
have started because of some initial inquiries I was making about
globalView under Windows, I feel justified in replying in this public
forum.

I always found ViewPoint/globalview to be excellent software, and I am
eager to obtain it for my own computer. It was very easy to use, and
quite powerful, and I am sure that as computers become faster and more
powerful and cheaper as well, the GlobalView product will continue to
make inroads into the personal computer marketplace.

The person making disparaging comments might have had specific complains
about the support he found in his own company, or in particular support
for an older version of the software/hardware.
