Many businesses that you call that offer some type of service,
like finding how much you owe on a credit card, have a pre-recorded
voice that answeres the phone and asks the caller to press buttons on
the reciever based on the ansers to the questions. For instance using the
sample above:
The system replies : Press one for an update on transactions..(pause)
Press 2 for your current balance.. etc

My question is directed to anyone who may know how these systems are set up,
hardware that is needed, software that is routing multiple calls, and the
software that generates and plays the pre-recorded voice.

I wasn't sure which group to post to, so if anyone has an idea where I could
post this message in another group that is more related to my question or
could assist me in answering my question please e-mail me at cranese@tuns.ca

Thanks
Steve
