You could maybe have a look to the Oxford Acoustic Phonetic
Database on compact Disc, from J.B. Pickering and B.S. Rosner.
It contains data on vowel-consonant and consonant-vowel
combinations in both stressed and unstressed locations.
The language covered include French, German, Hungarian,
Italian, Japanese, British English, Spanish and English.
A review of this database was recently published in the
Linguist electronic list.
