Subject: Speech Recognition FAQ?

Does anyone know where the faq for comp.speech is? Primarly I am
interested in public domain source code or pointers to technical
documents that would help me implement a speech recognition system.
(Essentialy all I need is to discriminate between different phonemes
or allaphones etc[And it need NOT be anywhere near perfect]).

Fast but less accurate algorithims/nets would be preferable over
cpu/dsp consuming but accurate algorithms. Data storage is no problem
(ie. 10 to 100 megabytes or more storage(secondary) can be allocated
for this problem). If anyone has any leads on where I should look it
will be appreciated.

I am pretty niave concerning current work in speech recognition and
will appreciate knowing what I should read and/or use in order to get
up to speed without reviewing the whole history of speech recognition.

                      Thanxs:),
